With great success, on Wednesday, November 19, at the historic Parnassos Literary Society, another important debate organized by Debate House took place on the future of the National Health System (NHS). The event naturally attracted a large audience of citizens, experts, and representatives of public life, confirming Debate House’s role as one of the most serious and reliable platforms for dialogue in the country.
The evening began with a particularly well-documented scientific presentation by Professor of Health Economics at UCL and adjunct Professor at Harvard, Mr. Sotiris Vandoros, who—albeit remotely—set the framework for the discussion. His contribution served as a key reference point for what followed.
In the debate that followed, Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis and PASOK MP Petros Pappas presented their positions on the future of the NHS in a very careful and well-substantiated manner.
